I have searched high and low for an organization like this. I hope it's still active and up and running. I'm not an educator yet but I'm working toward the career change and I am a long time Spanish student. Currently self teaching. I hope to attend your event! Thanks for all that you do!

I am a Conference Interpreter - 12 years with the European Union and 10 years in Rome with the United Nations FAO. I speak fluently Portuguese, Spanish, French and English. I am currently stationed in Maryland and would like to start an AAL branch here if there isn't one already. A question- your linkages to AfroBrazil???

I am a Spanish Educator and have been teaching high school, middle school, and elementary school Spanish for 8 years. I am also in the final stages of completing my Master's in Linguistics. I currently am a member of the Chicago Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. I have been looking for a network similar, but geared more towards the African-American community. I am glad that I found you all!!!
